About the numbers in this report: every customer figure cited here is measured from the published commission ledger of HBA affiliate Rob Fore (297 unique paying customers, September 2020 through August 2026) and his live HBA back office, checked August 2026, shared with permission. They are his results - not mine, not typical, and not a projection of yours.

Why I'm showing you this: every program on earth claims its customers stick around and upgrade. Almost nobody will show you the ledger. In a study of 15 active HBA promoters, exactly zero had ever published their retention numbers. So here are mine - 297 paying customers between 2020 and 2026, $278,272.87 in commissions paid per my back office, checked August 2026 - including the numbers that don't flatter me. You just became an HBA member. You deserve to see what customers like you actually do next.

What Customers Like You Actually Do

You almost certainly came in the same door as everyone else: 68.4% of my 297 customers made Funnel Builder their very first purchase, and 88.2% ended up owning it. So far, you're typical. Here's where the paths split:

Read the first two rows together. A third of customers stop at the $25 tier. A quarter end up owning everything. Those groups are nearly the same size - but over a lifetime, the full-stack customer generated roughly five times the value of the Funnel-Builder-only customer in my ledger: $695 against $131.

Five times. Same front door. Different second week.

And the majority - 55.9% - bought more than one product. Whatever you're planning to do with your membership, the data says the single-product customer is the minority outcome, not the norm.

How long people actually stay

The uncomfortable part, stated plainly: the median customer in my ledger paid for about three billing cycles and stopped. Not three years. Three months. Measured at export, 77.5% of my Funnel Builder customers and 83.4% of Premium customers had already stopped billing. Months three through seven are where nearly everybody who leaves, leaves.

But 13.1% of the original 297 were still generating commissions three to five years later - through a 33-month stretch, November 2023 to August 2026, where I ran essentially zero promotion. The residual is real. And here's the pattern that should interest you most as a brand-new member:

The customers who stuck are overwhelmingly the ones who went all-in early. Among my currently active customers, 66% own Financial Literacy and the full-stack owners dominate. Whether commitment causes persistence or persistent people commit, the correlation is strong - the people still here years later are the ones who bought the whole ladder and used it.

The Two Clocks Ticking on Your Account Right Now

This is the section to act on. Two timers started the day you joined, they are different lengths, and the ledger shows they decide most of what happens next.

Clock one: your free 14-day Premium trial

Your order form carried a checkbox for a free 14-day Premium trial - $125 a month after, cancel anytime before. Three facts from the ledger:

So the honest advice is not "buy Premium." It's: use the trial you already have. Log in today. Watch the training, join one live coaching call, open the AI tools (Email Alchemist writes your emails, PromptWrite drafts your content, Traffic Maestro plans your traffic). Then decide on day 12 with the facts, counting the day you joined as day 1, so a slow click or a time zone doesn't decide for you. Mark day 12 on your calendar right now: on day 15 the trial bills at $125 a month unless you cancel, trials can't be refunded under HBA's 72-hour money-back guarantee, and I'd rather tell you that twice than have you learn it from a charge.

It's an earning decision too, not only a product one. HBA pays you only on products you own. A customer who takes Premium through you pays you $100 a month only if you own Premium; if you don't, it pays you $0. So keep it if you'll use the tools, or if you're serious about the affiliate side. Cancel it if $125 a month would strain your bills. You can add it back later at $125.

Clock two: the 10-day Financial Literacy window

Financial Literacy Academy is 50% off inside your first ten days as a member - $500 by my arithmetic - and $1,000 from day eleven on. Same course, double the price. In my ledger, 30.3% of customers bought FLA - and among the customers still active today, two-thirds own it. It's a one-time purchase, so it's the one part of the ladder that churn never touches.

Full transparency, because you should know how the incentives run: the referring affiliate earns $400 if you buy inside your window and $800 if you wait and pay double. I'm telling you about the deadline anyway, in writing, before it passes - because a customer who finds out later that silence doubled their price doesn't stay, and shouldn't.

The same rule runs the other way once you're promoting: you earn on FLA only if you own it, about $400 on a half-price sale and $800 at full price. Count the day you joined as day 1, so day 10 is your last day at half price.

Decide inside the window. Buy it at $500 or decline it on purpose. If $500 is not spare cash this week, let the window close. Do not borrow it. The only losing move is finding out about the clock after it stops.

Why both clocks matter to an affiliate: in my six-year ledger, Premium was 61.6% of every commission dollar and FLA 18.5%: 80.1% together. My results, not typical.
