REQUIRED LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Typical affiliates earn no income. This is not a get-rich-quick program. No sales = no income. Full earnings disclosure: thehba.app/income
I am an independent affiliate of The Home Business Academy. This report discusses HBA products and I earn commissions on sales made through my links. HBA's published earnings disclosure reports that for the 12 months ending July 31, 2026, the average active affiliate earned $530 and the median active affiliate earned $0.

So you grabbed Let's Goal. Good move.
Maybe you wanted the goal tracking. Maybe you spotted the email tools and figured ten bucks a month beats what you were paying somewhere else. All fine reasons. What follows is the same either way.
The email side is real, by the way: Let's Goal includes the HBA Emailer, with 300 free email credits to start. That takes about 33 people through a nine-email welcome series. After that, 15,000 credits cost $15, enough for about 1,600 more people through all nine.
But tucked inside that $10 membership is something most people never open. It's like buying a pickup truck for the radio and never noticing it came with a tow hitch.
Your membership includes a full affiliate license. Nothing to apply for. Nothing extra to buy. You already own it.
The only question is whether it's worth your time. So let's look at that honestly, like two friends at a kitchen table. I've been at this particular table for six years, and I brought the receipts. The proof.
The only question is whether it's worth your time. So let's look at that honestly, like two friends at a kitchen table. And I brought receipts: the published six-year ledger of HBA affiliate Rob Fore. His numbers, not mine, and I'll say so again when we get to them.
HBA publishes what its affiliates actually earn, worked out from its own purchase records. For the 12 months ending July 31, 2026, the average active affiliate earned $530. The median active affiliate earned $0.
A year. Not a month. And half earned nothing at all.
That's from HBA's own earnings disclosure at thehba.app/income, and I put it first on purpose. Any time somebody selling you an opportunity buries that number, keep one hand on your wallet.
Now the line in that same disclosure worth a second look. 28.3% of active affiliates made at least one sale. Those affiliates averaged $1,871 for the year, with a median of $206. Same company, same year, same pay table. The difference between the zero and the $1,871 is whether somebody actually did the thing.
So no, this isn't "check a box and money shows up." The rest of this report shows what doing the thing looks like, using my own six-year numbers, including the uncomfortable ones.

HBA pays 80% commissions. Most affiliate programs pay 5% to 30%. Here's the whole pay table:
| Product | Customer pays | You earn | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Let's Goal | $10 a month | $8 a month | Recurring |
| Funnel Builder | $25 a month | $20 a month | Recurring |
| Premium | $125 a month | $100 a month | Recurring |
| Financial Literacy Academy | $1,000, or half price inside the buyer's first 10 days | $400 or $800 | One-time |
The ladder, drawn to scale: what you earn per customer, per month
HBA's published 80% pay table, not earnings. FLA is one-time, so it isn't drawn here. Typical affiliates earn no income.
And one rule underneath that table decides everything: you only earn on products you personally own. Own Let's Goal and refer somebody who buys Let's Goal? You earn $8 a month. That same person later upgrades to Premium? That $100 a month is real. It just doesn't come to you, because you don't own Premium.
Remember that rule. It's the whole ballgame, and it's why there's a ladder here, not just a product.
Refer two people who join Let's Goal and stay, and that's $16 a month. Your own ten is covered, and the coffee's on you.
That's arithmetic, not a projection: it assumes both stay subscribed, and some months people don't. But it's the cheapest break-even in the company, and you already own it.
Now look up the ladder. A customer who owns Let's Goal, Funnel Builder and Premium pays their affiliate $128 every month they stay, if that affiliate owns all three too. Add Financial Literacy and there's a $400 or $800 one-time on top.
One person. $128 a month.
That's not a promise about you. It's the compensation plan, and whether you ever collect it depends on the rule above: you'd have to own those products too. That's why I'm not asking you to buy anything today. I'm showing you where the ladder goes so you can decide whether you feel like climbing.
The $16 and the $128 are the pay table multiplied out: not earnings, and not a forecast of yours.

I've been an HBA affiliate since 2020. In that time, 297 paying customers came through my links, and my back office shows $278,272.87 in commissions paid, checked August 2026.
Before you get excited, here's the part nobody shows you.
Those are my real numbers from a real ledger, not a screenshot with the good parts circled. Your numbers would be your own, and they could be smaller. Including zero.

Not a problem. Seriously.
I don't care if you've never sold anything in your life, hate being on camera, work full-time, have 20 minutes a day and a marketing budget of zero. None of that disqualifies you. It just changes which road you take.
And you don't have to invent the road. Two things already exist:
One more thing, because somebody reading this needs to hear it: you're more capable than the last program that burned you left you feeling. Most of my 297 customers came in knowing nothing. Knowing nothing is a starting line, not a verdict.

Count the day you joined as day 1. Each clock is two questions: do you want the product, and do you want to be paid when your customers buy it?
Financial Literacy Academy: decide by day 10. It's $500 inside your first 10 days and $1,000 after. The half price needs every product you don't own yet in the cart, so check your own checkout. You earn on FLA only if you own it: about $400 on a half-price sale and $800 at full price, per my back office. If $500 isn't spare cash this week, let the window close. Don't borrow it.

Premium: decide by day 12, if your order included a Premium trial. The $35 Starter Pack comes with a 14-day trial, and on day 15 it bills $125 a month unless you cancel. Trials have no money-back guarantee. Keep it if you'll use the tools or you're serious about the affiliate side: a Premium customer pays you $100 a month only if you own Premium. If $125 would strain your bills, cancel from Manage subscription in your HBA Profile. Joined on Let's Goal alone? You may have no trial, and this clock isn't running.
The incentive, out loud: the affiliate who referred you earns $800 instead of $400 if you pay full price after day 10. That's why it's in writing, today.
If any of this has your wheels turning, the next rung is Funnel Builder at $25 a month. Three reasons it's the real starting point, straight from my ledger:

I earn a commission if you join through this link. It costs you the same.
If Let's Goal never becomes more than your goal tracker and your email tool, you got your money's worth. Plain and simple.
But if one of your goals really is to make more money... now you know what's sitting in the box, what it pays, what the honest odds are, and where the ladder starts.
Tell me which one you are. Email and I'll point you at the right next step either way, even if the right next step is "stay right where you are and enjoy the app."
Bless and be blessed,
To your success,
