Independent Home Business Academy Affiliate
August 2026
How This Works (Read This Page First)
REQUIRED LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Typical affiliates earn no income. This is not a get-rich-quick program. No sales = no income. Full earnings disclosure: thehba.app/income
I am an independent affiliate of The Home Business Academy. This report discusses HBA products and I earn commissions on sales made through my links. HBA's published earnings disclosure reports that for the 12 months ending July 31, 2026, the average active affiliate earned $530 and the median active affiliate earned $0.
Every gray box in this file is a prompt - a set of instructions you hand to an AI assistant, which then does the writing for you. You don't need any experience, any software, or any money. Here is the entire method:
Work through the prompts in order, one sitting at a time. Prompts 1-5 you'll do once. Prompts 6-12 you'll come back to again and again.
You own the Premium AI suite - use it with this file. Every prompt here runs in free ChatGPT or Claude, and as a Premium member most of them also run inside your tools: Email Alchemist for the email prompts (8-10, right inside the Emailer composer), PromptWrite AI for the writing prompts, Traffic Maestro for channel planning alongside Prompt 3 and Part 5. Use whichever feels easier - the prompts give you the right questions to ask either way. If you started with my Quick Start Swipes, Prompts 1, 8 and 11 will look familiar: same prompts, now with the other nine around them.
Do these once. Everything else gets easier after them.
Why this comes first: the number one reason beginners freeze is trying to talk to everybody. These three prompts leave you with one specific person to talk to, what they want, and where they already spend time online.
PROMPT 1 - Pick your market
I'm brand new to affiliate marketing. I promote The Home Business Academy, which sells tools and training for people who want to build an income from home (a $10/month goal-setting app, a $25/month funnel/page builder with email marketing, a $125/month training and coaching tier, and a financial literacy course). Interview me one question at a time - my background, work history, hobbies, struggles I've overcome, and who I naturally connect with. Ask up to 8 questions. Then recommend the 3 audience groups I'm best positioned to serve, and for each one tell me: who they are, what they're struggling with, and why they'd listen to me specifically. Keep it plain and practical.
PROMPT 2 - Map what they want
Here is my target person: [PASTE YOUR TARGET PERSON PARAGRAPH FROM PROMPT 1] List their 5 biggest frustrations (in their own words, like they'd type them into Google at midnight), their 5 biggest hopes, and the 5 objections they'd have about joining an online business program. Then give me the 3 messages that would make this person stop scrolling. Plain language, no marketing jargon.
PROMPT 3 - Find where they hang out
Same target person: [PASTE YOUR TARGET PERSON PARAGRAPH] Where does this person already spend time online? List: 3 types of Facebook groups they join (with example search terms to find them), what they search on YouTube, and which one social platform gives a beginner like me the best chance of reaching them for free. Explain your platform pick in 3 sentences, assuming I have zero audience today.
Twenty minutes that stop you from sounding like everyone else's AI.
PROMPT 4 - Build your voice profile
I want you to learn to write the way I actually talk. Interview me one question at a time - about how I'd describe my business to a neighbor, what phrases I use a lot, what kind of humor I like, what I refuse to sound like. Ask 6 questions, then write a short "voice profile" I can paste into future prompts so anything you write sounds like me. Keep the profile under 150 words.
PROMPT 5 - Mine your story
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] Interview me about my journey - what my working life was like before, what made me look for something different, what I've tried that didn't work, and why I chose The Home Business Academy. Ask up to 6 questions, one at a time. Then write my story three ways: (1) a 100-word version for an About section, (2) a 30-second spoken version I could say on camera, and (3) a 2-sentence version for social media bios. Honest and warm - no hype, no income claims.
Funnel Builder + a template + these two prompts = your pages, today.
How pages work here: you never start from a blank page. In your HBA dashboard, open Funnel Builder Academy, then Done For You Funnels, and load a template into your Funnel Builder account. Every template is boxes of placeholder text. Your job is just to replace that text - and these prompts write the replacement text for you. (Remember: your turnkey capture page is already live without any of this. These pages are your round two, when you want pages that sound like you.)
PROMPT 6 - Capture page copy
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] My target person: [PASTE TARGET PERSON PARAGRAPH] Their biggest frustration: [PASTE THE ONE YOU HIGHLIGHTED IN PROMPT 2] Write copy for a simple email capture page offering a free resource in exchange for an email address. The free resource is: [WHAT YOU'LL GIVE AWAY - E.G. "a short report on how I'm building an income from home with simple tools"]. Give me: 5 headline options (under 12 words each), 1 subheadline (under 20 words), 3 short bullet points on what they'll learn, and 3 button-text options. No hype, no income promises, sixth-grade reading level.
PROMPT 7 - Bridge page copy
Same voice profile and target person as before. Write copy for the page people see right after they opt in, before they're sent to The Home Business Academy's information. Structure: a headline thanking them and telling them what's next; my 100-word story from earlier [PASTE STORY VERSION 1]; 3 bullets on what The Home Business Academy actually is (a $25/month page builder with email marketing, training and community, with an optional free 14-day trial of the $125/month coaching tier); one honest paragraph saying I earn a commission if they join and typical affiliates earn no income; and a button inviting them to take a look. Friendly, honest, zero pressure.
The HBA Emailer is your follow-up machine. These prompts load it.
How the Emailer works: open HBA Emailer from your dashboard. Broadcast sends one email to everyone now. Autoresponder sends a saved sequence automatically to each new subscriber - this is the machine that follows up while you sleep. Click Autoresponder, then New Sequence, and paste in the emails below one at a time. Two tricks: type {{firstName|there}} anywhere and it becomes their first name (or "there" if unknown); your affiliate links are built into the composer - click to insert, never retype them.
PROMPT 8 - Your 5-email welcome sequence
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] My target person: [PASTE TARGET PERSON PARAGRAPH] They just opted in for: [YOUR FREE RESOURCE FROM PROMPT 6] Write a 5-email welcome sequence, one email per day. Under 150 words each. Plan: Email 1 - deliver the free resource, one line about who I am. Email 2 - my story (here it is: [PASTE 100-WORD STORY]) and the one lesson in it for them. Email 3 - teach one useful thing about starting an income from home with simple tools. Email 4 - what The Home Business Academy actually is, honestly, including that I earn a commission and typical affiliates earn no income. Email 5 - invite them to take a look, no pressure, door stays open. Each email: a subject line under 45 characters, short paragraphs, one link placeholder written as [MY LINK], warm and human. No income claims anywhere.
PROMPT 9 - Weekly broadcast, from one idea
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] Here's one thing that happened this week or one thing I learned: [ONE OR TWO SENTENCES - E.G. "I posted my first video and 9 people watched it"] Turn that into a short email to my list: a subject line under 45 characters, the story in under 120 words, one takeaway for the reader, and a soft one-line invitation with [MY LINK]. Sound like a note from a friend, not a newsletter.
PROMPT 10 - Wake-up email for quiet subscribers
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] Write one short email to subscribers who haven't opened anything in a month. Under 90 words. Honest and light: I noticed they've been quiet, here's the single most useful thing I've shared lately (summarize: [YOUR BEST TIP OR RESOURCE]), and one question inviting a reply - "what are you working on these days?" No guilt, no pressure, no links except [MY LINK] as a P.S.
One channel. One piece a day. These two prompts feed it forever.
PROMPT 11 - 30 days of hooks
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] My target person: [PASTE TARGET PERSON PARAGRAPH] My channel: [THE PLATFORM YOU PICKED IN PROMPT 3] Give me 30 content hooks for this channel - one for each day of the month. Mix: 10 that speak to their frustrations, 10 that teach one small useful thing, 5 that share my journey honestly (including what's hard), and 5 that answer common questions about working from home. Each hook is one sentence I can open a short video or post with. Number them 1-30. No income claims, no hype.
PROMPT 12 - 60-second video script
Use this voice profile: [PASTE VOICE PROFILE] Today's hook: [PASTE ONE HOOK FROM YOUR LIST OF 30] Write me a 60-second video script I can read naturally: the hook line, 3 short conversational sentences developing it, one honest sentence connecting it to what I'm building (no income claims), and a simple close - "the link in my bio has the details if you're curious." Write it the way people talk, not the way scripts read. About 140 words total.
| Day | Do | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Prompts 1-3 (one sitting, about 45 minutes) | Your person, your message, your channel |
| Day 2 | Prompts 4-5, update your bios | Your voice, your story |
| Day 3 | Prompt 8, load the sequence into the Emailer | Follow-up machine running |
| Day 4 | Prompts 6-7, build pages from a DFY template | Pages that sound like you |
| Day 5 | Prompt 11 | A month of content ideas |
| Day 6 | Prompt 12, record, post | Your first piece is live |
| Day 7 | Prompt 12 again + 5 comments + 5 invites | The 1/5/5 rhythm has begun |
That's a running business machine in seven sittings, built by somebody who "doesn't know what they're doing." Turns out you don't have to know - you have to ask, paste, and press publish.
One decision left on your ladder: as a Premium member, the only rung above you is Financial Literacy Academy - 50% off during your first 10 days as a member - that works out at $500 - and $1,000 after, and the one purchase in the line that churn never touches. If your window is still open, decide on purpose before it closes. If it's passed, decide whether the course is worth $1,000 to you on its own merits - no clock, no pressure.
